Due to our quality construction, Art C. Klein Construction, Inc. has
established a strong client base in the Colorado Springs area and
throughout the State of Colorado. This has resulted in repeat
business as well as many negotiated projects.
Based on our strong client base, Art C. Klein Construction, Inc. has
continued to grow and succeed. Our construction company, along with
four divisions, "Peak Concrete Enterprises", "Mountain High
Painting", "A Cut Above the Rest" and "The Architectural Division", has
grown from three employees to over 100. Over the past 30 years we
have remained stable through the local economic cycles.

The direction of our organization has always been to be a "complete"
General Contractor. In an effort to be more efficient and cost
effective, we subcontract less of our overall project than the
typical general contracting firm by self performing approximately 40%
of all work.
Art C. Klein Construction, Inc. is committed to serving the Pikes
Peak Region and the State of Colorado for years to come. We have in
place, a qualified construction team that has strong expertise in all
phases of construction. The result of our team efforts allows us to
accept the new challenges of tomorrow.
The Architectural Division of Art C. Klein Construction, Inc. was
originally established in 1981 in response to a specific need for a
selective group of clients, with which Art Klein had developed an on-
going relationship over the years. The Architectural Division grew
ever stronger with the popular trend to use the design/build process
for construction. This turned out to be the major survival tactic
that pulled us through the lean years of the late 1980’s. When we
emerged, we found we had established a reputation as a quality design
team.
Bruce Barr and his staff, are employed through Art C. Klein
Construction, Inc., operating as Bruce W. Barr, AIA, Architect. Their
relationship with Art Klein is unique in that although he is the
primary employer, they operate as an independent division, regardless
of job status.
The design/build supporting theory is that since all team members are
internally connected and have experience working together, there are
open lines of communication and abilities to better negotiate the
best possible product for the lowest possible cost, and all players
have one common goal: The Owner’s satisfaction.
